Banquet Server
The Hyatt Place Lenexa City Center is looking for an exceptional individual to fill the position of Banquet Server. This individual will assist in serving our guests for meetings and events. They may also assist in setting up, tearing down, stocking and cleaning as directed by the Banquet Manager and/or Banquet Captain. This position has a starting wage of $14 to $16 per hour based upon previous experience along with a gratuity share paid out on each paycheck. The ideal candidate must be flexible on the days of the week, and daytime or evening hours worked since the Conference Center demands fluctuate. The number of hours worked will range as this is an on-call position. Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

Banquet Server
The purpose of the Banquet Staff is to efficiently run the department in line with RHW and Hyatt Standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
Duties
Completes event room set-ups/teardown, service, and maintenance of all banquet functions and banquet equipment.
Organize inventory and maintain par levels of linen and food items.
Highly detailed role within the hotel to complete event requirement and create an appealing experience for guests.
Refresh meeting rooms and breaks, assist with serving meals and all areas of meeting room management as needed to include cleaning and dish service.
Though a weekly schedule will be posted, be available to work on-call as needed.
Requirements
High School Diploma preferred but not required
2+ years experience in food service role
Hotel/Event Space or Food and Beverage experience preferred but not required
Computer Proficiency
